WEST POINT STONES INC.

SCOPE OF WORK

West Point Stones Inc. utilizes cutting-edge forms, allowing us to create a representation of a physical slab and how it needs to be cut based on the project requirements. The material you’ve selected can be virtually laid out and then fabricated in our CNC-Bridge Saw by our skilled technicians. If your project requires a seam, the cutting form ensures the integration of the pieces, allowing us to maximize the natural beauty of the stone.

Scope of work

• Seaming is an inherent aspect of working with stone. Seams are essential when the layout exceeds the slab size or when flow matching is necessary. West Point Stones Inc. reserves the right to add or omit seams or adjust the design layout based on material characteristics.

• Please review the pre-template checklist before scheduling your template and installation.

• All stones exhibit unique natural characteristics; each is a product of nature. Gluing, repairing, and/or filling are standard industry procedures to prepare the stone for household use.

• Most countertop materials require routine maintenance. West Point Stones inc is not liable for staining resulting from improper or incomplete routine maintenance.

• Scribing to walls is not included in this estimate unless expressly stated.

PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, APPLIANCES, FIXTURES: All plumbing and electrical work must be completed by the customer’s contractor, plumber, or electrician.

• Cast iron and farmhouse sinks require separate support NOT provided by West Point Stones Inc.

• Dishwashers should be secured according to the specifications provided by the dishwasher manufacturer; West Point Stones Inc installation teams are not responsible for securing appliances. It is not recommended to attach dishwashers to the stone surface.

• Gaps are necessary with any wall-to-wall countertop installations, especially between finish panels. MIA standards will apply. Customers are responsible for any touch-up to the wall or panel surface.
